Starting Fridays in April 2015, The Hockey Loft will be running a competitive co-ed hockey league. The league will consist of four teams which will play 13 games including playoffs. The games will take place on Fridays between the hours of 5:30pm and 7:30pm.
Each team must consist of seven male and seven female participants. A team can submit a full roster or half a roster of seven males or seven females. Goalies can be either male or female.
The target age for this league is 18-30 years of age, but players of all ages are welcome.
Cost; $225 Per Player
For more information or to submit a team, please contact us at email@example.com
- Each team must have no more than four women/men under the age of 25 years old. This excludes goaltenders.
-One team cannot borrow players from another team. This will result in a forfeit.
-Each individual must have played in five regular season games if they are going to play in playoffs. This includes one game before the tenth game of the regular season. (Excludes special circumstances. ie. pregnant)
-Games that result in a tie will go to a three player shootout. Each team is awarded one point for the tie, the winning team getting the extra point.
-If an individual is in the penalty box as the game ends, this individual cannot participate in the shootout.
-Shootouts will consist of three different players. If the score is still tied after these individuals shoot, a sudden death, one shooter format will continue. At this point, a single individual is allowed to continually take each penalty shot.
- Three penalties in a single game will result in a game ejection. Repetitive actions will result in suspensions.
Teams can use these contacts to find substitute players if need be.
